My early activities

Starting in the first half of the 1990's and prior to 2004 my activities on behalf of tort reform were confined to letters to editors and efforts at op/ed commentary pieces in local newspapers.

In 1994 I attempted a lengthy op/ed commentary that I broke into a five part series that I attempted to publish in connection with a state supreme court election campaign that was going on. Alabama Supreme Court Elections 1994A newspaper was willing to publish the fifth part, but I was not comfortable with publishing the fifth patt by itself. I felt this five part writing was a pretty good statement of the case against plaintiffs lawyers.
