My own business or financial interests

I am a retired lawyer. At no time have I had any special business or financial interests in litigation or lawsuits generally. I was not a plaintiffs' lawyer or a defense lawyer. I do not believe I have any motivations on the tort reform subject derived from the legal work I have done in my career or from clients in which I have come in contact. I have not been paid by anyone for any of my activities related to tort reform. I believe I have been motivated in my activities based on trying to advocate that which will make the civil liability system best serve societal interests in fair, balanced, and reasonable way.
